Tiny Parts Robot Workstation
Robot That Picks, Places
and Counts Tiny Components
An off-the-shelf pick and place workstation designed for electronics manufacturers. Vision guided. Feeder integrated. Runs unattended.
Three Tasks. One Machine.
This workstation handles the three most common small component handling tasks on an electronics production floor without needing separate machines for each task.
The vision system identifies each component position and orientation on the feeder. The delta robot arm picks each piece and places it precisely into a tray or board in your specified pattern, including non-uniform arrangements.
Set the exact quantity needed per collection bowl directly on the touchscreen. The machine counts and places the right number into each bowl automatically. No operator needs to stand by during the counting cycle.
The machine handles non-critical assembly tasks such as stacking seals onto screws or placing components into jigs in a defined sequence. Two different components can be handled in one continuous cycle.
Your Operator Walks Away. The Machine Keeps Working.
Most counting and pick and place machines need a full-time operator standing by. The moment each cycle finishes, someone has to be there to remove parts, pack the batch, or reset the machine before the next run can start. That ties up one person just to watch a machine work.
This machine works differently. You set the quantity for each collection bowl on the screen, press start, and your operator walks away. The robot fills each bowl to the exact count you set. Your operator only returns when all bowls are full and ready. One operator freed up to handle other work on the line.
Four steps. Press start. Walk away.

Four Applications From One Platform
The same core workstation handles a wide range of component types and production configurations. These are four examples of what it can do straight out of the box.
The robot picks individual diodes from a vibrating feeder bowl. After each pick, it moves the diode under a camera to confirm exact position and orientation. It then places the diode into a pre-printed board in a non-uniform pattern. Every placement is consistent without any operator involvement.
The machine picks screws one by one and places them upside down on a metal tray. After six screws are placed, it switches to picking seals and stacking each seal onto the correct screw. Two different components handled in one continuous cycle with no manual step between them.
The robot places components directly into jigs moving along a conveyor line. Each jig holds two rows of eight positions. The robot fills every position correctly before the jig moves on. This configuration fits into your existing production line without stopping your current flow.
One robot serves two feeders at the same time. The left feeder fills the left tray. The right feeder fills the right tray. Two material streams handled by one machine in one continuous cycle. Doubles your output without doubling your footprint or your headcount.
What Makes This System Work
-
Vision Guided Picking
An industrial camera identifies each component position and orientation before every pick. The robot compensates automatically for random positions in the feeder. No manual pre-sorting or positioning needed.
-
Guided Operating Interface
The built-in touchscreen guides your operator through setup and product changeover step by step. No specialist programming knowledge required for day-to-day operation.
-
Intelligent Component Screening
The system automatically identifies and rejects defective or incorrectly oriented components before placement. Only acceptable parts are picked and placed into your tray or board.
-
IO Communication Interface
Supports IO communication for integration into your existing production line control system. Compatible with standard factory automation signals.
Proven in the Field.
This is a standard ready-made machine. You do not wait months for a custom build. You evaluate, purchase, and deploy in a much shorter timeline than fully bespoke automation.
It has a proven track record across a wide range of component types in electronics and precision manufacturing environments, with demonstrated stable performance under continuous daily operation.
Built for Electronics and Precision Manufacturers
This workstation is designed for production teams that handle tiny components daily and need a reliable, affordable way to reduce manual labour without a full custom automation project.
You need to reduce operator headcount at repetitive picking and counting stations without a large capital investment or a long integration project.
You are evaluating automation options for small component handling and need a system that works with your specific component geometry and tray pattern requirements.
You want proven off-the-shelf automation that delivers measurable labour savings and can be deployed without disrupting your existing production flow.
